As President and Chief Operating Officer, he steers the company with a unique perspective honed through his previous roles in warehouse and logistics management, as well as hands-on fieldwork in the challenging terrains of Canada’s north. Hailing from the Yukon, Stuart is a proud father of two sons and holds a deep-rooted understanding of the communities and logistics needs in this region. His commitment to excellence and his profound connection to the north make him an invaluable asset to Small’s Expediting and the communities it serves.

Shawn Hamilton
Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer, Partner
Shawn Hamilton, a seasoned professional and Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Partner at Small’s Expediting, combines a diverse background with a deep commitment to making a difference. With a previous career as a pilot, he soared through the skies and developed an eye for precision and discipline. His life’s journey led him to live in various locales across northern Canada, fostering a unique understanding of logistics and transportation needs in remote communities. Shawn’s greatest passion lies in helping others, and in his role at Small’s Expediting, he channels that passion into delivering exceptional logistics solutions while making a positive impact on the lives of those he serves.

Damon Anderson
Operations Supervisor
Damon joined Small’s in 2021 and brings a strong mechanical aptitude and practical field experience to the team. Raised in Haines Junction, he developed an early appreciation for the outdoors and the demands of working in northern environments. With a background in equipment repairs, rentals, and private sector operations, Damon understands the importance of reliability, maintenance, and keeping assets operational in challenging conditions. His hands-on skill set and steady work ethic make him a dependable part of day-to-day operations. Outside of work, Damon remains an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman — a reflection of his deep connection to the Yukon and the lifestyle that comes with it

Casey Chouinard
Operations Coordinator
Casey began his career in the late 1990s working in oil and gas exploration, gaining valuable field experience in demanding northern environments. In 2013, he transitioned into mineral exploration and has since been involved in projects across the North. With decades of hands-on experience in resource industries, Casey brings a strong understanding of remote operations, coordination, and the importance of reliability in the field. His practical background and steady approach make him a trusted contributor to projects operating in challenging terrain and conditions. Outside of work, he’s kept busy by his two wiry dogs — who ensure there’s never a dull moment off the clock.

Bryce Wold
Operations Coordinator
Bryce has been part of the Small’s team since 2007, bringing nearly two decades of experience and reliability to northern transportation. As a heavy commercial driver, he understands the responsibility that comes with moving freight across Yukon highways and into remote locations. In addition to his work on the ground, Bryce is also a licensed pilot — a reflection of his strong technical skill set, situational awareness, and commitment to safety. Whether behind the wheel or in the air, he brings precision, professionalism, and a steady approach to every task. Bryce’s long-standing dedication and depth of experience make him a valued member of the Small’s Expediting team.
