SMALL’S EXPEDITING AND GENERAL SERVICES LTD. TEXT MESSAGING TERMS OF USE
By “Opting In” to or using a “Text Message Service” (as defined below) from SMALL’S EXPEDITING AND GENERAL SERVICES LTD., you accept these Terms & Conditions.
This agreement is between you and SMALL’S EXPEDITING AND GENERAL SERVICES LTD. All references to “SMALL’S EXPEDITING AND GENERAL SERVICES LTD.,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refer to SMALL’S EXPEDITING AND GENERAL SERVICES LTD., 2-25 Pilgrim Place, Whitehorse, Yukon, Y1A 0M7.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
SMALL’S EXPEDITING AND GENERAL SERVICES LTD. uses SMS messaging to communicate with customers and vendors regarding freight tracking, expediting services, delivery updates, dispatch coordination, scheduling, and responses to service-related inquiries.
Messages are service-related only and are not used for marketing or promotional purposes.
DEFINITIONS
“Opting In,” “Opt In,” and “Opt-In” refer to requesting, joining, agreeing to, enrolling in, signing up for, acknowledging, responding to, or otherwise consenting to receive one or more text messages.
“Text Message Service” includes any arrangement or situation in which we send one or more messages addressed to your mobile phone number, including text messages (such as SMS, MMS, or successor protocols or technologies).
CONSENTING TO TEXT MESSAGING
By consenting to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Text Messaging Terms and Conditions.
You may provide consent (opt-in) to receive SMS messages by:
- Submitting a freight or service request and selecting SMS as a preferred communication method
- Requesting SMS communication during a phone call or in-person interaction
- Initiating a text message to our business number and confirming consent when prompted
E-SIGN DISCLOSURE
By agreeing to receive text messages, you also consent to the use of an electronic record to document your agreement. You may withdraw your consent to the use of the electronic record by replying STOP.
SMALL’S EXPEDITING AND GENERAL SERVICES LTD. TEXT MESSAGE SERVICE PRIVACY POLICY
We respect your privacy. We only use information you provide through this service to transmit your mobile messages and respond to you. This includes, but isn’t limited to, sharing information with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of mobile messages.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Nonetheless, we reserve the right to disclose information as necessary to comply with any law, regulation, or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property.
This Text Message Service Privacy Policy applies specifically to SMS communications and does not modify other agreements we may have with you.
COSTS OF TEXT MESSAGES
We do not charge you for messages sent through this service. However, message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan.
FREQUENCY OF TEXT MESSAGES
Message frequency varies depending on your active shipments, delivery activity, dispatch coordination, and service requests.
This Text Messaging Service is primarily for conversational, person-to-person communication between you and our employees.
OPTING OUT OF TEXT MESSAGES
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying with any of the following:
STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT-OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE
After you opt out, you may receive a one-time confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-initiate contact or opt in again.
